Spring Meeting Message

By Sherin Moideen, MD
PSV President Elect

2021 Spring MeetingI am pleased to announce that our PSV Spring Meeting will be on February 19-20, 2021 at the Hilton in Downtown Richmond, Virginia. The theme for the Spring Meeting is: Striving for Equality: Challenging Disparities for Better Mental Health. Join us to hear from your expert colleagues who will take us through a personal and structural journey while giving us deep clinical insights to improve patient care.

Following the success of our hybrid fall meeting this past September, we are hoping to implement similar hybrid measures to ensure safety and encourage participation. The meeting can be attended virtually or in-person with strict measures.

For those attending in-person we will have our usual Friday evening reception to meet our colleagues and to interact with local legislators. We will hear key updates from our legislative advisors. It is extremely important to stay up to date on legislative issues that will directly impact our profession.

Our main scientific session will be held on Saturday. As always, our semi-annual meetings provide more than a quality educational experience. It is an opportunity to advocate for profession, trainees and patients and support each other personally and professionally. We look forward to seeing you.
