Dr. Morewitz is Retiring

Jerry Morewitz, MD, a member of the APA and PSV since 1981, is retiring from full-time employment in the Eastern Virginia Medical School Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences after 35 years of service. He wore many hats in the department through the years as he is triple-boarded in psychiatry - general, child and adolescent, and geriatric. Dr. Morewitz chaired the EVMS Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences from 1997-2007. He has been awarded Professor Emeritus status.
